Limia is a river in Europe that the Romans identified with the river Lethe--the river of forgetfulness in the mythological underworld. The souls of the dead drank from the river, and once they had forgotten their past lives, they were ready to be reincarnated.

This piece calls to mind the acts of remembering and forgetting by rotating repeating fragments at different rates. The line between remembering and imagining is blurred.
